A hot shower clears your nose and allows you to breathe normally at night;

Essential oils, especially those containing eucalyptus, will help you breathe more freely and sleep better;
Using products that help unblock your sinuses, such as Vicks Vaporub, will unblock your nose and allow for better ventilation.

Also, be sure to treat any nasal infections as soon as they appear. Otherwise, you could end up suffering from various complications, such as a permanently blocked nose.

2. Change your sleeping position.

It may seem obvious, but sleeping on your back is a position in which all the saliva your body produces stays in your mouth and prevents drooling. On the other hand, if you sleep on your side or stomach, accumulated saliva is likely to drip from your mouth and fall onto your pillow.

If you find it very difficult to maintain the same position all night, try swaddling yourself to stabilize your body.

3. Check for sleep apnea.

Drooling and snoring are the main indicators of sleep apnea. If you suspect you may have this disorder, consult your doctor to discuss it in detail. Remember that factors such as smoking increase your risk of suffering from it and breathing problems in general.
