This powerful shift in appearance is something makeup artist Arber Bytyqi knows well. Based in Prizren, Kosovo, he once shared that he prepares makeup for over a thousand brides each year. Here are 23 eye-catching before-and-after photos that capture how he enhances each woman’s beauty for her wedding day.

Before: The bride had visible redness on the left side of her face and around the eye, along with an uneven skin tone. Her eyebrows were naturally shaped, and her lips were bare.
After: The artist evened out her skin tone, defined the brows, added winged liner with full lashes, and finished with nude gloss. Her hair was curled into a high ponytail, topped with a pearl-studded tiara.
