Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick once lost a significant portion of their wealth due to a poor investment decision. However, they have since recovered financially, and their marriage remains strong as they now choose to live on a farm.
Having a Farm Comes with Sacrifices
In a 2023 interview, Kevin revealed that he no longer eats certain types of meat since living on the farm. The “Leave the World Behind” actor admits, “I no longer eat goat and I no longer eat pig, because I have goats and I have pigs.”
Offering more insight into his home life, he explained, “My wife is like, ‘We can’t get any more animals, because you’re going to stop eating everything.'”
In addition to their four goats and two pigs, the couple has three alpacas and three miniature horses.
Kevin revealed the reason behind their growing collection: “I love animals, they are a joy to be around, and they’re very, very calming for me. But we also really love to go into the garden and get fresh herbs or tomatoes or basil or peppers or zucchini.”
