There are times when performers get together to celebrate each other’s talents in an event that is planned from the bottom up. There are other times when surprises may take place.

At the Polar Music Prize Ceremony, Sting was in attendance and he was enjoying the moment. Little did he know that he was about to get surprised with a performance of Fragile that he would not soon forget. Thanks to the video, we won’t forget it as well.

Sting was just enjoying the show, as many in attendance were that day but then Annie Lennox showed up, took the stage, and sat at the piano. The fans in attendance were absolutely speechless but Sting was feeling it too.

His jaw dropped open as she began playing him the surprise song and she delivered it in such a way that it did it justice. That performance left Sting emotional and it was beyond words. Perhaps that is why it has received more than 11 million views on YouTube.
