Anytime you get dignitaries together from around the world, there are sure to be some conspiracy theories that go along with it. In the case of those who showed up for the funeral of Pope Francis, the conspiracy theory has to do with the first lady.

The first lady, Melania Trump was in Vatican City along with her husband, Pres. Donald Trump for the funeral of the Pope. She was seen at the service but social media users are saying that the woman who was with Donald Trump is not the first lady but she is a body double.

Melania Trump was wearing a black blazer and black veil for the occasion and she looked dignified as she stood beside Donald Trump, who was wearing his signature blue suit. Some of the viewers on social media, however, pointed out that there were differences in her appearance.

In other words, they are saying that the person at the funeral did not look anything like Melania, and some body-double rumors were started. They even built further as the day went on as the couple was arriving in Rome.

Hours before the funeral took place, Melania was wearing a trench coat and sunglasses as she was photographed. Some people who saw the video and photographs questioned if it was a stand-in or not.

There was some controversy but the funeral was pending, so there were many who were expecting the Trumps to attend. There were some changes to those who did come to the funeral, such as King Charles not coming because of his health.

As people noticed the way that Melania Trump looked at the funeral, a number of theories got started. Some felt that it wasn’t the First Lady and that a body double was used. They also said that there were some specific differences in her appearance.
