Katherine Kelly Lang, known for her role as Brooke on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” brings to life a character who finally finds lasting love after a series of turbulent relationships. Off-screen, Lang’s own path to true love was equally complex, with two divorces behind her before she met her ideal partner later in life. Everyone who has followed “The Bold & Beautiful” for years knows Brooke Logan has had several exciting relationships throughout the show’s storyline. Played by Katherine Kelly Lang, Brooke wed several men, marrying some of them multiple times.
Throughout the soap, Brooke’s true love is Ridge Forrester, played by Ronn Moss and Throston Kaye. Brooke and Ridge married 11 times throughout the show, with only seven being legal. Occasionally, some of Brooke’s ex-husbands would show up to cause drama. However, in later and more recent episodes of “The Bold and the Beautiful” these past couple of years, Brooke remains married to Ridge. In real life, however, Lang didn’t need to get married as many times as her character to find love. She was married to Skott Snider from 1989 to 1995 and married Alex D’Andrea two years later, from 1997 to 2014.
When she first married film director Snider, she didn’t think they’d ever get divorced. However, it was a difficult marriage, and she knew it lasted longer than it should have.
Lang and Snider share two sons named Jeremy and Julian. Following her “horrible and horrendous” divorce, the actress didn’t think she’d ever marry again. However, she found love with actor D’Andrea, with whom she shares a daughter named Zoe. Seventeen years after getting married, they filed for divorce. Amidst her divorce from D’Andrea, Lang met Dominique Zoida, the man she considers the love of her life. Speaking about him, she once said: “To finally have a man come into my life who is completely right for me is something I wasn’t expecting. We are best friends and love doing everything together.”
Lang has nothing but good words to say about her relationship with Zoida, whom she met at 51. They are the best of friends who motivate one another and have a lot of things in common. In 2019, Lang suffered a health scare when doctors removed a tumor the size of an orange from her small intestine. One notable aspect of the couple’s relationship is their fourteen-year age difference.
However, according to Lang, it does not matter to them and has never been an issue. Once, the actress even joked, “I’m very young on the inside, and [Dominique’s] kind of the old one.” Like Lang, Zoida is smitten by the actress as well. Zoida admitted that he was attracted to Lang at first sight. He also said their lives are now intertwined, which he thinks is amazing.
