As a Christian musical artist, Lauren Daigle showed up on the American Idol stage and sang a song for the world to hear. The 29-year-old singer gets a lot of attention, and her singing is spot-on.

She selected Christian music as her genre, and she has done very well as a result. In fact, she has performed everywhere, from inside maximum-security prisons to the stage on the late show with Jimmy Fallon.

It was recently, however, that she sang the song ‘Look Up, Child’ on the American Idol stage. It was an interesting moment for her because it wasn’t the first time that she was there.

When she first showed up on American Idol, she was only 17 years old. The judges decided to deny her, however, so she wasn’t going to find fame in that way.

That didn’t stop her, however, from finding the fame that she desired. She ended up hitting the heights with her music career, including having the hit single, ‘You Say’. That song has the record for the ‘longest-running number one song of any genre’ by topping the weekly Billboard Hot charts for 125 weeks.
