Netflix Fans Are Binging Steamy New Drama In One Night And Going Back For Seconds

We often turn to Netflix to fill our weekends and evenings with something that is binge-worthy. Every once in a while, we find a show that meets that criteria. People who love Netflix are now falling in love with a new drama that has a lot of steamy portions to it. Not only are they binge-watching the entire show in one night, they are coming back for seconds.

There have been a number of Western shows on the streaming platform in the past but the latest series is one that is taking things to an entirely new level. Considering the popularity of Western shows in recent years, television is jumping on the bandwagon quickly. An example of this is the series Yellowstone, one of the most-watched television shows in 2022. The new series that was posted on Netflix, however, is very similar in popularity.

Fans have come forward to offer praise to this Western drama and are talking about it on social media. Some are saying that they absolutely love the show and others that it was well written and is genuinely heartfelt. Although not everybody agrees with everybody on this, many say that it has been a fantastic show and is well worth watching.

This is also something that is agreed upon by many critics. As someone who reviews for Variety, Aramide Tinubu said: “Beautifully shot and boasting a stunning cast, it’s a sexy, predictable, breezy viewing experience that delivers on its promise.” IMDb has given it a 6.8/10 rating and Rotten Tomatoes is giving it a 75% audience rating. That is high praise coming from some of the top services out there.

The Western was created by April Blair, who was also responsible for cowriting Monte Carlo starring Selena Gomez. The show synopsis reads: “Passion runs deep in a small Texas town, as three ranching dynasties fight for their land, their legacies and the people they love. The show we are talking about is Ransom Canyon. It is based on a book by Jodi Thomas and stars, Josh Duhamel, Minka Kelly, Jack Schumacher, Lizzy Greene, Marianly Tejada, and James Brolin.

When actress Kelly was asked about her role in Ransom Canyon, she said the following in a Netflix interview: “I wanted to do something that felt big and escapist and had the romance, but also had the drama, and the mystery wrapped up in one package. “Old Westerns did have a romance and drama to them, so it leans into a more bygone era Western.”
