Woman Splits Rent with Boyfriend for Years, Then She Discovers Some Documents – Story of the Day

Before Ashton asked Lana to move in with him and split apartment costs, they had been dating for a few months. For years, they divided everything equally until Lana found out that Ashton had been lying all along. It will be fantastic. Since we both recently graduated, it makes more sense for us to live together. We divide the expenses equally, and we both benefit,” Ashton said to Lana. After dating for eight months, she was not convinced it was the right time to move in together.

“I am not sure, Ashton. Such a promise is made. We both recently graduated from school, as you mentioned,” Lana remarked falteringly. We can only relocate to the city and look for work together, that is for sure. I already have some cash on hand for a deposit and other expenses. “If you let me, I will go find the apartment and take care of everything,” Ashton persisted, pressing Lana to accept. Alright, I concur. Given how costly city living has gotten, it makes sense. It will be alright if we get employment,” she at last said.

Before Lana knew it, Ashton had moved to the city and found an apartment. After just a few weeks, he moved everything in and Lana packed her belongings to move in with him. It was preferable to divide the rent equally because it was rather reasonable.

“You can give me the rent money.” When she inquired about it, Ashton responded, “I will send it from my account to the landlord directly. “Does it include anything like utilities? How is the Wi-Fi working? Lana pondered. “How about using your account to pay for the Wi-Fi?” Ashton recommended. Ashton had taken on so much responsibility that Lana instantly agreed, but she also wanted to help. For a number of years, this arrangement seemed ideal, but eventually Lana desired to move out of rental housing and into a house with Ashton. But before that, they had to discuss the future.

We have been living together for a number of years, honey. Do you think we should go farther? One evening, she inquired. Naturally, Lana. However, I was not sure if you wanted to tie the knot anytime soon,” Ashton candidly stated. “Well…I have never had a strong interest in weddings. We may have something easy. However, I inquired about it because I believed it might be time to look for a place to live,” Lana clarified. “I am over having to pay rent each month. That money would be better used on a mortgage, in my opinion.

It seems like a really good idea. But I am not sure if we have enough money saved for a down payment,” Ashton added, sounding nervous all of a sudden. Yes, that is something I am aware of. Lana concluded, “I just wanted us to start thinking about moving forward together. I have some savings.” “You are accurate. Let us organize it. Ashton concurred, but he always found something else to occupy his time when Lana brought up the topic. Perhaps he is not interested in getting married or buying a house together, Lana reasoned. One day, Ashton went to pick them up dinner at their favorite Italian restaurant while Lana cleaned their room. Since they moved, they have either eaten there or picked up meals every Saturday.
