Prince Harry Whines That His Childhood Bedroom Was Not As ‘Luxurious’ As Prince William’s

A lot of information has been released in the memoir by Prince Harry, Spare. It is a tell-all memoir and the confessions are sometimes rather surprising.

In the memoir, the Duke of Sussex reveals how he has had a rivalry with Prince William for a very long time. The world may be privy to it now, but it existed before they knew anything about it.

In the book, he talked about some of the squabbles that he had with his brother since they were young. Some of them included physical fights and it often has to do with his childhood. In one part of the memoir, Harry spoke about how the bedroom he had growing up in Balmoral was not up to par when compared to what Prince William was experiencing. This was a source of sibling rivalry.

In total, there were 50 bedrooms but William got the first choice because he was the oldest son. As a result, he controlled half of the house, and it was the bigger half.

Some of the luxuries that William had included a double bed and a large basin. He also was able to look out of a window to a courtyard with a fountain. Harry said: “My half was so much smaller and less luxurious. I never once asked what the reason for this was. I did not care but I did know that the reason why was because he was William and I was Harry.” He also mentioned how William was two years older than him and was always considered to be the heir, but he was the Spare.
