Many people are familiar with Susan Boyle because of her epic performance on Britain’s Got Talent. She rose to fame seemingly out of nowhere, but many people still don’t know much about her personal life.
Although Susan Boyle is famous because of her singing, very little is known about what goes on behind the scenes. She is a very shy individual who tends to also shy away from the spotlight.
One thing that we do now know is that at the age of 53, Susan Boyle has her first boyfriend. He is a doctor from Connecticut that she met when she was on tour in the United States and soon, he may just go to visit her in Scotland.
According to Nicola Phillips, her spokeswoman: “That’s the plan. She met someone when she was in America and the idea is that he can come here.”
They were at a hotel in Clearwater, Florida, when they met each other. According to her spokeswoman, she is definitely happy to meet someone.
Of course, she has likely met many people because of her newfound fame but she still tends to stay as quiet as possible. She lives in a small Scottish town and despite the fact that she is worth millions of dollars, she still lives a very simple life.
Something interesting that came out in 2009 is the fact that she had never been kissed. That being said, now that she has a new romantic interest, it has likely changed for her.
According to Susan Boyle, she met the doctor and he was a ‘perfect gentleman’. They enjoyed each other’s company and although the relationship is still in its early days, she is hoping that he will soon visit her in Scotland.
At the time, she didn’t want to reveal the name of the doctor. She said: “I don’t want to reveal the doctor’s name. It’s nothing serious at the moment. I will send him a picture of my weight loss – if he’s a good boy! I do enjoy male companionship.
“I would love to adopt a child too but my cat might get jealous. I don’t want to see a cat and a baby fighting. It’s something I might do later.”
She went on to talk about their affair, saying: “I did have a gentleman friend, a doctor.
“We went for lunch but I didn’t tell anyone.
“But if I had a man friend it would be purely platonic – I’ve been on my own too long now to get married.”
